Peacefully, on 28th July 2020 in the tender care of the staff of Maison de Quetteville, aged 92 years. Wife of the late James, loved mother of Jeremy and Ian, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral service at Martels Funeral Services on Thursday 6th August at 2. 00 p. m. All friends kindly accept this intimation. Family flowers only. Private cremation.

Some of my greatest memories are going to visit my Nanapaul in Guernsey. She was so loving and caring and was always so happy to see us. She was also an amazing cook, making amazing meals every night that everyone enjoyed. As a young boy I made a rather incorrect sentiment about something she had cooked, remarking ‘this is really nice for home-made!’ Everybody laughed, and, as confused as I was at this, she told me ‘Don’t worry, I know what you mean’. She just loved her family so much, and cared for everyone so well.
In her later years we would spend time doing the crossword together, making jigsaws and playing board games. Whenever I was losing at Monopoly, she would slip me some money to help me out! She would always make sure our favourite food and drink was in the house. She had a great sense of humour and an amazing caring nature.
She will be missed so much, but remembered so well.
