Peacefully, on 19th August 2024, after an illness borne with great courage and determination, passed away aged 67 years. Dearly loved husband of May, much loved father of Allan (Alfie) and Stephen, father-in-law to Elaine and Mina, grandfather of Becksley, Maxime and Charlotte.Funeral service at St Joseph's Church on Friday 30th August at 2.00 p.m. to which all who knew Peter are welcome to attend. Tribute from No longer a userIn complex projects and in quiet thought,
He found the paths that few had sought.
With steady hands and vision clear,
He built the world he held so dear.
A gentleman, through and through,
With every step, his kindness grew.
In every word, in every deed,
He placed the needs of friends, indeed.
He crafted bridges, solved the maze,
But more than that, in all our days,
He brought a light, so warm and bright,
Guiding us through the darkest night.
In laughter shared, in moments still,
He taught us grace, and iron will.
A friend to all, both near and far,
A guiding light, our North Star.
Though he has gone, his spirit stays,
In every dawn, in countless ways.
For in our hearts, he’ll always be,
A friend, a guide, a legacy.
